We have a busy month ahead of us with a brand new pop up for this month’s art walk (Butter Bandit Bakery) and a new Collaged Bookmark Workshop with Studio Arby!
We’re also heading up a community event to spruce up the grass strip over on the southeast corner of our block as part of the Show Up, Seattle Day of Service! If you’re interested in joining us, you can sign up here. I’ve been trying for a while to see if something could be done to clear out the foxtail grass from that strip, since it’s a hazard to dogs and there are so many dogs in this neighborhood and on this block in particular! We’ll be out there from 11-4 and you can stay for as long (or as short) as you’d like. If you can’t make it or don’t like gardening, we’re also accepting donations of compost, beauty bark, or gardening gloves for volunteers, since we’ll be working with a budget of $0.
