Lantern Making Workshop - Studio Arby x Celine Waldmann

Winters are long and dark here in Seattle, so why not join us in the store during October’s Art Walk and make your own paper lantern?

I grew up making paper lanterns in school in Germany, where November 11 is St. Martin’s Day and we’d parade around with our candle-lit lanterns. We’ll have all of the materials to make your very own lantern and will have templates and samples on hand for inspiration. There will be wire available to make hanging lanterns, but they work just as well as tabletop decor or on a windowsill!

This workshop is suitable for all ages, but smaller children will likely need extra help with the folding and assembly.
